Responsibilities
- Operate Class-A commercial vehicle safely on dedicated Charlotte regional route
- Maintain DOT compliance with meticulous logs and inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Deliver freight to multiple locations with precision and timeliness
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Represent company professionally in customer interactions
- Utilize telematics systems to optimize fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
