Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (sand, gravel, asphalt) to designated job sites
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate mileage/delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Manage loading/unloading procedures using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Scottsdale/Phoenix metro area roadways and construction zones
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and securement procedures
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
