Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain meticulous electronic logbooks and DOT compliance records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading coordination
- Uphold Swift's safety standards and zero-accident culture
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
- Utilize Qualcomm systems for real-time routing and updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience or equivalent training
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Excellent time management and communication skills
