Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging system (ELD) and documentation
- Maintain consistent delivery schedules with minimal delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Flexible to overnight stays and weekend schedules
