Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances (OTR) on dedicated routes.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and ensure full compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition, representing the Swift Logistics brand professionally.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR or Dedicated driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate and DOT Physical.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and adhere to a drug-free workplace policy.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety.
