Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries within Washington, DC, and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at each delivery stop.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety-first driving.
