Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers (Class A & B) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance documents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and hazard awareness procedures at all times.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must have appropriate endorsements).
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
