Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses across Detroit
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize daily efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-shift to ensure operational safety and cleanliness
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app to operations team
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid auto insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
