Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Albuquerque and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while operating a delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction with every delivery.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
- Properly handle, load, and unload packages to prevent damage or loss.
- Utilize handheld technology (apps and scanners) to track delivery status and updates in real-time.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery delays immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change if required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone capable of running delivery applications.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
