Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations throughout Columbus
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle (fuel, cleanliness, minor maintenance checks)
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data plan for route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
