Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive package deliveries throughout Virginia Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during package handoffs and route interactions
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Handle special handling requirements for fragile or high-value shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach roadways and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to and from our Atlantic Ave facility
