Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations in the Raleigh metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at the distribution center
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Raleigh-area roads and traffic patterns
