Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking for all shipments
- Verify recipient signatures and handle cash-on-delivery transactions professionally
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize daily routes using provided navigation tools to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery technology
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Knowledge of San Jose streets and major highways preferred
