Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses within the San Francisco area.
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in the same condition as when picked up.
- Obtain electronic proof of delivery (POD) for all shipments using company-provided mobile applications.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Adhere to strict scheduling requirements to maintain our high service standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact politely and professionally with diverse clientele.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
