Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses in San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service when handing over packages to recipients.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Route Planning: Navigate using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic reporting systems.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions and resolve customer inquiries professionally.
- Security: Ensure packages are secure during transit and report any lost or damaged items immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanners, GPS devices, and mobile apps.
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
