Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and documents to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Verify recipient information and obtain signatures upon delivery confirmation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with recipients
- Handle package sorting, loading/unloading, and secure storage protocols
- Report maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and basic smartphone applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
