Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver time-sensitive packages, medical specimens, and legal documents to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution hub
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Portland metro area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
