Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS navigation software to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain recipient signatures, and maintain detailed delivery logs
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding delivery status and special instructions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
