Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and accurately to designated residential and business addresses within the Minneapolis metro area.
- Verify recipient signatures and maintain accurate delivery logs using handheld scanning devices.
- Practice superior customer service by adhering to a professional dress code and respectful communication standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology to optimize delivery routes and minimize fuel consumption.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Route4Me).
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the designated delivery hub.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
