Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients throughout Milwaukee and the greater metro area.
- Obtain signatures and confirm delivery details to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and strictly adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are free from damage during transit.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and clients.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery statuses and log mileage in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required (CDL not required for standard courier).
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years (MVR check required).
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for using handheld delivery management systems.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
