Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive documents and packages using company vehicles
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify recipient signatures and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisville metropolitan area roads
- Exceptional customer service communication abilities
