Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport time-sensitive packages and documents across Louisville Metro area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify package integrity
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual/automatic transmissions
- Strong knowledge of Louisville Metro area streets and landmarks
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
