Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, signed for, and properly documented.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local Jacksonville, FL area roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent physical stamina to lift packages and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with handheld devices and GPS navigation systems.
