Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform accurate package handling, including loading and unloading cargo while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions, resolve delivery issues, and ensure a positive unboxing experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Utilize mobile applications to log deliveries, update status in real-time, and manage route optimization.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and route planning instructions to ensure compliance.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery delays immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for navigation and reporting.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Residence within the Dallas, TX metro area preferred for reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
