Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive package deliveries within Indianapolis metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delays or issues
- Handle fragile, confidential, or hazardous materials according to protocols
- Represent the company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation field
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Indianapolis streets and navigation systems
