Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Houston and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures/receipts
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation
