Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and goods to designated locations within Arlington and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and recipients regarding delivery status
- Handle special delivery requests with precision and professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure cargo areas in the delivery vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
