Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Oakland using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app and phone
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse facilities
- Uphold company standards for customer service and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area geography
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
