Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages throughout Oakland and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentationProvide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Handle special delivery requests with care and precision
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot
