Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations throughout Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency using GPS and route planning tools
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and drug screening
