Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, documents, and medical supplies
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Tulsa metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
