Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across designated routes using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app
- Assist with package sorting and loading/unloading at warehouse
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local Detroit area knowledge preferred
