Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and goods across Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic English proficiency for client communication
