Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies on strict schedules
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying contents and documenting deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with mobile technology (GPS, delivery apps)
