Responsibilities
- Transport packages, documents, and medical supplies throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify recipient signatures and ensure secure handling of high-value items
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS navigation to optimize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Uphold all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of San Jose geography preferred
