Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages, documents, and medical supplies using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize daily delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations requiring up to 50 lbs lifting
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission preferred
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
