Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents to designated locations within Fresno and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Load/unload packages efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and adjust routes for traffic/weather conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Fresno street layout and navigation systems
- Strong time management skills and punctuality-driven mindset
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking apps and digital manifests
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
