Responsibilities
- Execute Timely Deliveries: Navigate efficiently through Austin and surrounding areas to ensure packages are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and ensure customer satisfaction with every drop-off.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Route Planning: Utilize company-provided GPS and route planning software to optimize delivery paths and minimize fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Complete delivery logs, receipts, and any necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Security: Secure all packages during transit and handle fragile items with the utmost care.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid, clean (no major violations) driver’s license is mandatory.
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone for logging deliveries and accessing navigation apps.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: A history of reliable attendance and punctuality.
