Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Atlanta metro area efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring cargo is secure and organized.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of yourself and the public.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle minor customer service issues.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and digital paperwork using a smartphone.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck at all times.
- Follow specific route instructions and time windows to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no recent DUIs or major accidents).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and reporting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
