Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport documents, medical supplies, and time-sensitive packages across San Antonio metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Load/unload packages with care and adhere to all safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt to changing delivery priorities and urgent requests
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio streets and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (public transit options nearby)
