Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver packages and documents to designated locations using company vehicles
- Plan optimal routes to meet tight delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Safely load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Fort Worth/DFW road network
- High school diploma or equivalent required
