Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and documents to designated locations within Columbus metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial driving preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
