Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, medical supplies, and time-sensitive materials across Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Inspect vehicles daily, report maintenance issues, and ensure cleanliness and operational readiness
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and communicate route updates
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore city streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills and customer service focus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
