Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Baltimore County and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using GPS tracking and digital manifests
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and route communications
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Handle high-value or temperature-sensitive shipments with specialized protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Knowledge of Baltimore street grid and traffic patterns preferred
- Pass federal background check and DOT physical examination
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
