Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, documents, and medical supplies
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any transit issues immediately
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical safety
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 lbs and maneuver in tight spaces
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred but not required
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metropolitan area streets and highways
- Previous delivery or logistics experience highly valued
