Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials across Arlington and DFW metroplex
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication and professional demeanor
- Handle special requests such as fragile items, temperature-sensitive deliveries, and oversized packages
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Arlington geography and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Must pass background check and drug screening
