Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and medical supplies throughout Houston
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems for real-time monitoring
- Verify recipient information and obtain proper signatures for all deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations in all weather conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban delivery environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays during peak seasons
