Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents to designated locations within Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Background check clearance
