Responsibilities
- Transport packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations within Baltimore metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Safely load/unload packages with proper handling protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore streets and surrounding counties
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
