Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency and timely deliveries
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures/confirmations
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred but not required
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation (1+ years)
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic navigation tools
- Background check and drug screening required
